How is Goldstein Dental keeping you safe during COVID-19?

With a lot of information swirling arounds news and media outlets today, it’s important to know where to get the deep down truth.

Here at Goldstein Dental, we take our staff’s health as seriously as our patients’ and have always kept it as our #1 priority. So, what have we been doing here since COVID-19 has happened?

As always, every room and instrument are sterilized between every patient. While some office may be doing an increase in this, it is already common practice here at our office.
Our waiting room now has a limit in capacity, 6 patients max, all spaced over 6 feet apart.
Patients must call before they arrive and answer a COVID-19 questionnaire in order to evaluate any risk in relation to COVID-19 and also be aware of any pre-existing conditions that may put them more at risk. Once a patient passes the questionnaire (provided by the American Dental Association here), we invite them in and record their temperature.
We require all our patients to wear facemasks while anywhere in the office unless seated in an operatory chair.
All our staff have intensified PPE for your and their safety.
We limit the company patients are allowed to have come in with them for visits or wait in the lobby for them unless completely necessary.
We have removed all common things people touch such as magazines, TV remotes, pens, and toys.

All in all, our office is consistently updating our machinery, product and safety for the benefits of our patients. We will do everything we can to give our patients the oral health they deserve during these times while keeping them as safe as humanly possible. If you’d like to know more about our protocols, please feel free to call our office for more information, (716) 635-4720.
